Comments :  As often, randomly of a research on the Net, I discover your extraordinary site! What a pleasure! Although far from gifted for the English language, I traversed it with delight. Without flagornery, you have sû to approach all the aspects of photography, while always remaining on the simplicity and the quality of information, and the sobriety of the presentation. I repeat myself, a treat! Only one small note of regret, I am unconditional admirator of Jeanloup SIEFF ... he deserves a place in your pages. (September 28, 2003)

Comments : I love your site. History channel did a piece on wild West Tech. Photography was mention showing use in newspapers and wanted posters. I came to yor site searching for information on how the photographs were put into print at that time. My interest in photography began in the summer of 1945.  I was, 14, working for the British pharmaceutical company Burroughs Wellcome located at that time at 41st & 5th Ave in NYC. At that time they were in the photographic chemical business.  Their developers were used by Admiral Perry when he took pictures of the North Pole. I was a summer helper who prepared the varios developers, toners and stain plus the hypo baths used by the department. After the war they figured they couldn't compete with Kodak and they got out of the business. My newphew ran the film division of 3M which was located in Milan. I am currently actively into digital photography. (November 1, 2004)

Comments : Dear Ted, We have just discovered your web site. Let me make a complaint about it. It is probably the best web site of it's type in the world. My complaint is that other technical/industrial/edjucative and corporate web site builders haven't emulated its speed, design, simplicity and overall superiority as a major piece of web communications. We certainly learned much from it. And we have been building big high-end web sites for multinationals since 1997. Congratulations to you, to your web designers, your technical guys and everyone else concerned. Bruce W. Sydney Australia. (November 21, 2004)

Comments :  Ted, Kudos! Great site. Most comprehensive to the novice, and expert. I didn't want to stop reading and clicking while learning and reviewing - with a sentimental grin. During a photoshoot, a young shutterbug asked me for a website on photographic know-how, etc.. Slightly embarrased, I muttered, "Mmmm, that's a good question..." There's no question, now.
Thankyou and Take Care. http://beanboxers.ms/ (November 22, 2004)

Comments : Hello Ted, I was impressed by the wealth of photographic information on your site. An important resource for anyone studying photography. The animations are particularly helpful. A lot of hard work has gone into this site. My site http://www.theimageplane.net/ deals with the more elementary princples of small format photography for the amateur/novice. (March 11, 2005)
